What a Rare Bird! This is the only Andy Powers Acoustic guitar we have seen in 28 years of representing high-end, handcrafted guitars. And it is spectacular!

 

  • Straight grain, quarter-sawn Brazilian rosewood back and sides with spider-web figure along the back center strip.
  • European Spruce top
  • Koa bindings and top ergonomic Bevel
  • Side sound port
  • Brazilian rosewood headstock faceplate with builder logo
  • Open gear Waverly guitar tuning machines with custom wooden buttons
  • Ebony fretboard, bound - with Ebony and Bloodwood wooden inlay.  It almost looks like the petals of a sunflower.
  • Black Water Buffalo Horn nut
  • Brazilian rosewood headstock back plate
  • Ebony bridge with Koa inlay accents 
  • Unslotted, FI bridge pins
  • Koa and Bloodwood rosette
  • Koa back center strip, terminating in a bloodwood diamond at the top
  • Koa heel cap 
  • Koa heel and end grafts
  • Excellent ++ condition
